Farmers & Crafts Market of Las Cruces. From 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Plaza de Las Cruces. All of the goods sold by our vendors are hand-made and local. Everything from the jewelers and metalwork to the paintings and fiber, art, has been produced in Doña Ana County. We take pride in our large supply of local artists and craftspeople.

The fiber art fashions made by members of SWFAC showcase one-of-a-kind designs, unique accessories and home decor. The show will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 1 pm with doors opening at 12:30 pm at The Hearth located at 1915 N. Swan Street in Siver City, NM. Funds raised by the event will go to support classes, outreach to the community, and sales events

Hike through geologic and human history to learn of Picacho Peak's formation and the history of the Butterfield Trail. (geology focus) ~3.5 mi roundtrip. Join Tom on this challenging hike to Bishop’s Cap and back to learn the area’s geologic and mining history. Aguirre Spring Recreation Area from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Swing by campsite #4 and make natural dye from local materials to decorate your own paper egg* while learning a little science and indigenous plant use! *while supplies last.

Springfest 2026! At Young Park from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Springfest 2026 is a FREE, family-friendly celebration at Young Park that brings the community together for a day full of springtime fun! Hosted by Bravo Mic Communications, families from across the Southwest come out to enjoy games, exciting activities, delicious food trucks, local vendors, and entertainment for all ages.

Join us for a guided mountain bike ride and learn about your monument lands along the way! Riders must bring their own trail-ready mountain bike and helmet. (3-6 miles, depending on attendees’ interests and abilities) Every Tuesday in April! From 6 p.m.-sunset at the Dona Ana Mtn parking area.

The Las Cruces International Festival is back for its 11th year with 160 films ranging from short to feature-length and music videos to animation from the U.S. and around the world. The festival that drew 3,000 people to watch 60 films 11 years ago is now expected to attract an audience of more than 12,000 to the Allen Cineport 10 for a five-day event April 8-12.

Bataan Memorial Day flag raising and reveille at 8 a.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park, 1251 N Roadrunner Pkwy. Retreat of the flag will be 5 p.m. Help will be needed to fold the flag.
