The Las Cruces Police Department announced that the annual and local expression of the National Night Out will be Tuesday, Aug 6.
National Night Out is a national police advocacy event that hopes to connect the public with police agencies in a non-emergency setting. The yearly event occupies Las Cruces’ downtown for the evening from 6-9 p.m.
“National Night Out gives residents an evening to meet neighbors, area first responders and other organizations that provide valuable services to our community,” a news release said. “The event is a popular family night out with many giveaways and one-on-one interactions with first responders and community organizations.”
