“We had roughly 800 people between guests and chefs,” Mesilla Valley Hospice (MVH) Provider Relations Representative and event coordinator Staci Mays said about attendance at the 14th annual Men Who Cook, held Saturday night, Sept. 17, at the Las Cruces Convention Center.
"Thank you to all of our sponsors, chefs, guests, donors and volunteers that made the event possible,” said Hospice Foundation Executive Director Lorraine Padilla. “The outpouring of support for Mesilla Valley Hospice was truly amazing."
Proceeds from the event will go into MVH’s charity fund, which helps pay for services to patients and families who are don’t have insurance or are underinsured, Padilla said. MVH provides services regardless of a person’s ability to pay.
