Celebrate the Start of Summer During San Juan Day at Lincoln Historic Site

Lincoln Historic Site offers a special mass and lecture in honor of San Juan Day, the traditional Spanish festival marking the start of summer.

Celebrate San Juan Day at Lincoln Historic Site. A special Catholic mass will take place at 10 a.m. in the San Juan Bautista Church. Guest speaker Scott Smith, a retired New Mexico Historic Sites employee and resident of Lincoln, will give a lecture at 11:30 a.m. about when and how La Iglesia de San Juan came to be built, as well as its significance to the people of Lincoln County. Admission includes the mass and lecture and is $7 for adults and free to children 16 and younger.
