Las Cruces Community Theatre (LCCT) presents “The Little Dog Laughed,” written by Douglas Carter Beane and directed for LCCT by Norman Lewis, for nine performances, opening Friday, March 11, and continuing through Sunday, March 27, at LCCT, 313 N. Main St. downtown.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, March 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26; and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 20 and 27.

Tickets are $14 to $17 and are available online at lcctnm.org and at the door before each performance.

The cast includes Ryan Rox as Alex, the hustler, Nora Brown as Diane, the Hollywood agent, Brad Martinez as Mitchell, the rising movie star, and Brigette Kearns as Alex’s girlfriend, Ellen.

"It has been such a pleasure working with these talented actors as we work together to create this fun comedy for our audiences at LCCT,” said Lewis, who starred in “A Christmas Carol,” LCCT’s one-man show last December. “Like all comedies, this play is about love, but since it is a contemporary comedy, love is sometimes scary, sometimes confusing, sometimes sexy, and sometimes very funny."

The play has adult themes.
