The New Mexico Wine Festival will be noon-6 p.m. Saturday-Monday, May 27-29, at the Southern New Mexico Fairgrounds, 12125 Robert Larson Blvd., about 14 miles west of Las Cruces via Interstate 10.

The event will showcase hundreds of wines from 18 wineries, according to a news release.

“From rich reds to crisp whites and everything in between, attendees will have the opportunity to explore an extensive array of varietals, all made with passion and craftsmanship by local vintners,” the news release said.

Participating wineries include Amaro, DH Lescombes, Heart of the Desert, Luna Rossa and others.

There will also be more than two dozen arts and crafts vendors at the festival selling handmade jewelry, food and drinks, wine accessories and more.

Live music will be provided by Matthew Palmer Band, Frank Zona and Urban Legend, Proud Pete, Damian Wyldes, 575 Band and Benny Bassett.

Visitors can participate in free mini golf, painting classes and candle making, and can make their own flower crowns. There will also be trucks onsite
