The historic Taylor residence in Mesilla will present its collection of over 200 international Nativity scenes on Sunday, Dec. 17, on the Mesilla Plaza.
The Nacimientos Open House will be open from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with free admission for children 16 years old and younger or $5 for adults. Admission is free for members of the Friends of Taylor-Mesilla. Tickets are available online by clicking on the appropriate calendar entry at my.NMculture.org.
The Taylor property, located on the plaza, was the residence of the late J. Paul Taylor, Mary Daniels Taylor and their family since 1953 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, known for its collection of Spanish colonial, Mexican and New Mexican art and textiles, according to the state Department of Cultural Affairs.
