Grand reopening for Solstice Senior Living

Solstice Senior Living, 151 N. Roadrunner Parkway, celebrated its grand reopening June 12 following renovations. The ‘Roaring 20’s’ theme provided a creative base for residents and staff to dress up and have some fun.

“The community’s renovations include new furniture, décor and overall beautification to create a premium independent living experience for residents,” said Laura Arriaga, senior director of sales and marketing for Solstice.

Solstice provides activities, indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxation and living spaces customized for individual needs, Arriaga said. They also offer enrichment programs tailored to residents’ needs, such as social activities, professional dining services, excursions to local attractions and more. Solstice took over the facility five years ago, she said, but the location has been there for 20 years.

According to its website, many older adults have found that moving into a senior living community  allows them to live more independently than before because of the added security, amenities, social opportunities and peace of mind these communities provide.

The renovated dining room at Las Cruces Solstice Senior Living offers a spacious and comfortable place to take meals.
