The Future Forge Makerspace will hold its 5th anniversary celebration from 5-9 p.m., on Friday, February 21, at the Murray Hotel Ballroom, 200 W Broadway St. The free banquet event is open to the public and will honor the donors, volunteers, and members who have been instrumental in developing and growing Silver City’s nonprofit community makerspace.

Guests will enjoy delicious local food and live entertainment as they reflect on five years of creativity, innovation, and community collaboration. The evening will showcase the rich history of The Future Forge, highlighting current initiatives, and sharing exciting goals for the future.

“We are proud to celebrate the many achievements of our makers, from unique projects and workshops to community-driven programs that have impacted Silver City and beyond,” said Robert Teran, Marketing Specialist for Future Forge.

The event will feature special presentations acknowledging key contributors and milestones; while offering a behind-the-scenes look at how The Future Forge has evolved since its inception. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with fellow makers, supporters, and local leaders who share a passion for fostering creativity and hands-on learning.

While the event is free to attend, RSVPs are encouraged to help the organizers plan for an unforgettable evening of celebration, gratitude, and inspiration, honoring the people and partnerships that have made The Future Forge a hub for makers and creators in Silver City.
