Fair weather means fair time in southern New Mexico.
The 58th annual Southern New Mexico State Fair and Rodeo begins Sept. 25 and lasts until Sept. 29 at the Southern New Mexico Fairgrounds 12 miles west of Las Cruces on Interstate 10.
The fair starts at 9 a.m. on Sept. 25 through Sept. 28 and 10 a.m. on Sept. 29. It lasts until 10 p.m. on Sept. 25, 11 p.m. on Sept. 26, 12 p.m. on Sept. 27 and Sept. 28 and 6 p.m. on Sept. 29.
Notable events include dog diving, a petting zoo, a stick horse race, and more. A full schedule can be found at SNMstateFairgrounds.net.
