Las Cruces poet and musician Liz Liano (Lizard Glitter Productions) has organized four local events in January and February, including a personal finances lecture, a poetry workshop and two musical and poetry (one including comedians) performances.
Here are the events:
- 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, Poetry Workshop, Downtown Blues Coffee, 130 S. Main St. 575-523-8828.
- 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21: How Do You Adult? lecture with a guest speaker from the financial community. The presentation will include how to make a budget and what a credit score is. Woody’s Gallery, 309 E. Organ Ave. 575-621-2330.
- 6 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28: A Night of Music and Poetry. Poetry; Richie, Lizard King, Brittany, Alain, Saul; music: Isaac Arellano, Christian Chesanek. Woody’s Gallery, 309 Organ Ave. 575-621-2330.
- 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11: Poetry (Peter-Tetteh, Esperanza, Lizard King), Comedy (Brianna Chavez Chacon and America Breceda) and Music (Cowboy Baby, Lizard King, Taylor Paul, Yeehaw). This event is a fundraiser for NAMI of Southern New Mexico. Art Obscura, 3206 Harrelson St. 575-494-7256.
The charge for each event is $5. Snacks will be served at each event.
