Mail theft alert

Posted

A group of 3 identity theft thieves are stealing mail from mailboxes. They rent storage lockers around Las Cruces.
Then the mail is opened and savings, checking, and retirement account numbers are copied. Once a victim is
found, bank and credit transaction mail is stolen from the victim's mailbox. This way the victim does not find out

Our story: Between June 2022 and April 2023, the 3 perpetrators of identity theft, stole $35,000 from retried
professor Grace Ann Rosile's retirement savings account. They opened up merchant accounts with the TIAA Bank
routing number (available from Google search) and used the stolen mail to get her account number.

It started in June when I (Professor Boje) was getting stage 4 radiation treatment at MD Anderson in Houston for 3
months. We contacted TIAA Bank, and there is a loop hole that anything not reported within 60 days, they do not
reimburse. So beware professors and administrators at NMSU. You too can loose your retirement to mail theft.

Thank you to owner of the storage facility who is now contacting police to turn over ID of the 3 perpetrators.

Sincerely David Boje (husband of Grace Ann)

Las Cruces
