Las Colcheras Quilt Guild will host its 16th annual Spring Fling quilt show, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Feb. 3-4, at Las Cruces Convention Center, 680 E. University Ave.
Admission is $7 for one day or $12 for both days. Children under age 12 are admitted free.
The event will include “a great collection of judged quilts, special exhibits, door prizes, demonstrations and more” both days, Las Colcheras said.
Quilts for the show were entered in either a judged category or are for display only. Ribbons and monetary prizes will be awarded to the top quilts in judged categories. National Association of Certified Quilt Judges Judge Nancy Fuka from Lamy, New Mexico will judge the show and write an evaluation of each quilt, the guild said.
Vicki Conley will be the featured artist for the show. Her National Park Series will be on exhibit.
