A pedestrian died late Friday evening after allegedly being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Boutz Road and El Paseo Road.
Police have identified the pedestrian as Juan A. Haro, 48.
First responders were dispatched at about 10:50 p.m. Friday, June 13, and found Haro suffering from multiple injuries. First responders attempted life-saving measures but Haro was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, Haro was crossing Boutz, north to south, when he was struck by a black Cadillac CTS traveling west on Boutz and approached El Paseo Road.
The 17-year-old driver stopped and police interviewed the driver. Police seized the vehicle pending a search warrant but have not filed charges pending further investigation.
