The New Mexico Construction Association, formerly known as the Las Cruces Home Builders Association, announced that donation applications for the 2024 “Casa for a Cause” event are open.
Once known as “Anniversary House,” Casa for a Cause is a project in which profit from the sale of a new home are distributed to Doña Ana County nonprofit organizations. The most recent event distributed $145,000 to 26 local nonprofit organizations.
The project manager this year is Hakes Brothers. The home is anticipated to be complete by the beginning of December, NMCA stated in a news release.
Registered nonprofits in the county may submit their application up to the Nov. 30 deadline by email or in person at the NMCA office, located at 2825 N. Main Street. Further information is available via executive director Nicole Perez at 575-526-6126 or nicole@buildnmca.com.
