ASTC presents that drive through monterey

Set in 1971 Los Angeles, this poetic and moving memory play, inspired by the life of the playwright Matthew Paul Olmos' mother, explores a Mexican American woman’s journey from first love to heartbreak during a turbulent time in U.S. history.

Nelson-Boswell Series: Lauren Camp

La Sociedad para Las Artes at NMSU will host a public reading event for New Mexico Poet Laureate Lauren Camp as part of the Nelson-Boswell Reading Series, which invites visiting writers to NMSU to share their work with the community.

Sing Sing

The Mesilla Valley Film Society presents Colman Domingo as an inmate at Sing Sing imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit, who finds purpose by acting in a theatre group alongside other incarcerated men.

First Friday Movie Marathon: 80s Classics

Las Cruces Public Libraries presents their free monthly movie marathon, featuring classic PG-rated romance movies from the 80s, including “Sixteen Candles,” “Breakfast Club,” “Pretty in Pink,” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”

Vampire New Orleans Mardi Gras

Dress up in your best vampire regalia to attend the costume/dance party of the season, with a seven-piece professional New Orleans jazz band, authentic food and desserts complimentary drinks, and a funeral procession down Main Street.

The Graduate
