UAM exhibition open

Three new exhibitions opened June 22 at the NMSU Art Museum (UAM), in Devasthali Hall, 1308 E. University Ave., at the intersection of University and Solano Drive.

The exhibitions, which continue through Sept. 16 at UAM, are “Cara Despain: Specter,” “Agnes Martin & Karen Yank: Meditations on Mentor and Student” and “Wild Pigment Project, curated by project founder Tilke Elkins.

All three exhibitions will include programming events throughout the summer, UAM said. Admission to all programming is free and open to the public. Located in Devasthali Hall, 1308 E. University Ave., UAM is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. Designated gallery parking is available and general parking on the NMSU campus is free on weekends and after 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
